The Johns Hopkins Scholarly Communications group is dedicated to fostering open access to quality information in support of learning, scholarship,
research and patient care.
The group promotes:
- increasing awareness among scholars, administrators and policy makers of the importance of retaining certain rights over their intellectual
property
- initiatives and practices that encourage competition in the publishing of scholarly information and supports practices which facilitate free
exchange of scholarly information
