Scientists in the UK are beginning work on the British 
version of PubMed Central (UKPMC). The site will be 
launched in 2007 and is expected to hold more than three 
million full-text medical articles. They are in the process 
of finding someone to develop, host, and manage the service 
which will be a stand-alone UK portal of the US version.
