An interesting new online scientific publication made its
debut in November 2006. Called the Journal of Visualized
Experiments or JoVE, the journal is like a YouTube for
researchers. It presents video-based biological
experiments, showing how the experiment is done rather than
describing in words. There are no fees to post a video and
videos are freely available to all. The journal is not yet
indexed nor is there traditional peer review though both
things are goals in the future. |
