Nature is about to introduce 3 open access resources to the 
scientific community. The first two, Nature Reports Climate 
Change and Nature Reports Stem Cells, contain original 
journalism and commissioned comment as well as archived 
Nature material and blogs that allow community 
participation. A third resource, Nature precedings, will 
allow scientists to publish and discuss early findings. It 
will be a place to put conference papers, posters and 
presentations. Materials will be reviewed for legitimacy 
but there will be no judgments as to quality or uniqueness 
made and no peer review. Materials will be published within 
24 hours at no charge to the author.
