The Wellcome Trust has announced that free, unlimited 
access to two thousand years of images from their 
collections will be made available through a Creative 
Commons Licence. 

Launched on June 15, 2007, the site will provide teachers, 
students, academics, and the public with images depicting 
2,000 years of mankind and medicine. 

'Wellcome Images' is the world's leading source of images 
on the history of medicine, modern biomedical science and 
clinical medicine. Users may copy, distribute and display  
images, provided the source is fully attributed and the use 
is non-commercial.
