Elsevier has launched a wiki on medical research aimed at 
physicians and lay readers called WiserWiki. The contents 
of the site originally came from the third edition of John 
Noble's Textbook of Primary Care Medicine. Noble is a 
leading figure in primary care medicine. The wiki is 
becoming a key source of authoritative, online medical 
information and can be read by anyone with an internet 
connection. But WiserWiki can only be edited by board 
certified doctors to ensure that the information is as 
trustworthy and reliable as possible.
